Children & Families
Aberdeenshire has a wealth of organisations, from community groups, voluntary organisations, social enterprises, and charities, who all play a key role in supporting and delivering positives outcomes for the children, young people, carers, and families in our local communities.
At AVA, the Children & Families Network is open to any Third Sector Organisation who work with, or have an interest in, the wellbeing of children, young people, families and carers living in Aberdeenshire.
The Network is a place for peer support that can motivate and inspire growth in our sector.
Bi-monthly Network meetings provide a place for members to make connections with other third sector organisations and have an opportunity to spotlight the valuable work they do.
Our statutory partners are regularly invited to join Member meetings to speak about relevant work and seek views from The Network.
The Network also brings together our Third Sector voice which can feed into Children’s Services Planning at a local and national level.
Launched in 2021, this community of likeminded organisations continues to grow.
