Community Volunteering Enterprise Project

AVA’s Community Volunteering Enterprise, funded by the Young Person's Guarantee Fund, has the aim of working with young people, especially those who have faced challenges in gaining paid employment. Working with young people we will support them through a programme of challenging learning and development activities delivered in three phases:

Phase 1 - initial engagement in a learning environment where the participants are reminded of the skills and experience, they already have through our Skills Plus course

Phase 2 - being offered an opportunity to enrol in a SQA Employability Award, which if completed would lead to the achievement of an SQA certificated award.

Phase 3 - support to engage in a relevant volunteering activity with all the benefits that can come from volunteering in the community. (Volunteering can continue beyond the planned end of the phase)

The programme is free to 16-24 year olds that meet the programme criteria and support will be given at all stages.  Please contact our Enterprise Coordinator Pauline Anderson at pauline.anderson@avashire.org.uk or by phone on 07436 033169 for further information or if you have any questions.
